bh Malibu Palette Tutorial & Review: Natural & Sweet

For today's look I used one of the bh cosmetics California palettes. I have the bh Malibu palette and I just love this little thing. It comes with 16 eyeshadows, 2 blushes, a bronzer, and a cheek highlight. As with many bh shadows, these work great with a "sticky" or "wet" primer on the lid. However, to build more intensity you may have to add some makeup setting spray to your brush. I really don't have trouble building most of these up and they really do blend well.
The bronzer is very light! I won't say it is not pigmented, it is just such a light color that it may not show up on many skin tones. I tried to use it as my bronzer but then I went into the more brown/bronze blush color and went on top of it.
The blushes are SUPER pigmented and I love them! They also seem to last all day with no problem. On top of all this, the cheek highlight is absolutely beautiful. It is not as shimmery as Mary Lou by the Balm but it still packs quite a glowy punch.
All in all this is a great palette for travel and I'd even recommend it for beginners who would like an all in one palette. It has great neutrals as well as pop colors. I'm glad I grabbed it!

Crease: Mix of the light wheat shade (#1). I used a fluffy brush and buffed it in all over and even brought it down the lid because I loved it so much.
Then I took some of the really rich dark brown color (#2) and kept it only right in the crease just for some depth.
Lid: The pretty light bronzy shade (#3)
Highlight Under Brow & Inner Corner: The Cheek Highlighter from the palette
Bottom Lid: #1 and #2 then blow it out with a fluffy brush to blend

Bronzer: I started with the light matte bronzer from the palette but its VERY light. I don't want to say it isn't pigmented, it is just very light. So I added my Mary Kay Pressed Powder in Bronze 1 on top of it.

Highlight: Cheek Highlight from the Palette
