Inner Glow: Cream Cheeks & Shimmery Eyes

For the past several weeks I've noticed that my skin is just soaking up any foundation I put on because it's been so dry. With the weather being so cold and dry outside I've been taking extra precautions to moisturize my skin and keep it healthy. Because of this my skin hasn't "felt" dry or cracked (on my face, at least!) but I noticed every time I walked by a mirror that my skin was absolutely soaking up whatever foundation or tinted moisturizer I had used that day. My face look like it had scales on my upper cheeks. Yuck! So I decided today to try something a little different. So far, it has worked very well and my skin looks healthy and luminous still. I dare say, it looks dewy! Here's what I did. First I put my normal primer on and used my matte wear foundation on my chin ONLY. Then I used the Mary Kay Luminous Foundation which is made for normal to dry skin all over. For concealer I used the Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer and then I used ALL CREAM CHEEK PRODUCTS. I have them all listed below. After this I used some of my loose translucent powder very lightly with my Real Techniques setting brush only on the places I thought my concealer might "slip." That's it. The cream only products have really helped out. I'm planning on getting a few more cream blushes and some bronzing products to help me get through this winter and I have eye on the Sonia Kashuk Chic Luminosity Highlighter Stick. If any of you have tried, let me know in the comments below what you think of it.
I hope you enjoy this tutorial. If you check out my January Favorites Video for this year, it is the makeup I'm wearing.
Have a great day, Gorgeous!

Foundation & Primers: My Current Foundation Routine
(Click the TAB above for more info.)

Eyes
Base: Mary Kay Cream Eyeshadow in Beach Blonde
I started out with the inner third of the lid as well as the inner corner using Nude from the Lorac Pocket Pro Palette (this is also in the full-sized Lorac Pro Palette), then on the center of the lid I used Unbelievable from the Loraz Unzipped Palette (the remainder of the shadows for this look are from that palette as well), and finally on the outer third of the lid I used Uncensored with I then blended up and into the crease. To deepen the crease just a bit I used Untamed only in the outer third of the crease. The Highlight under the brow and blending shade from crease to brow is the Undercover shade which is more matte/satin. I figured there was already more than enough shimmer in this look!
